Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2024/25 collection has arrived just in time, and Chanel’s now-former designer Virginie Viard takes us to the seaside chic of Deauville – a town entrenched in Coco’s lore and history.

This Fall, Chanel’s 11.12 handbag takes center stage reimagined in a myriad of colorways and fabrications, alongside an array of seasonal flap bag styles. Beyond the flap bags, the collection also introduces on-trend East-West silhouettes, oversized clutches, touches of seasonal shearling, and a sprinkling of dazzling diamanté details.

Classic 11.12 Handbag
Forever a classic, Chanel’s Classic 11.12 flap bag plays a prominent role in the Fall/Winter 2024/25 collection. Offered in both the Medium 11.12 size, as well as the small, this season favors lambskin leather, perhaps a nod to Chanel’s ‘traditional’ choice. The color palette is diverse, offering shades like Burgundy with gold-tone hardware (a departure from the pre-collections deep Rouge Noir with rose-gold), Light Pink, Gray, Coral, Olive Green, Light Blue, Yellow, Bright Pink, and Dark Brown.

For those who prefer a textural twist, the Classic 11.12 handbag is also available in several wool tweed iterations. If you lean towards neutrals, there’s a deep Dark Brown paired with brushed gold-tone hardware.

If you’re seeking a bigger textile statement, Chanel offers an Orange, Gray, and Yellow tweed with gold-tone hardware and a Light Pink, Black, Beige, and Ecru herringbone wool tweed iteration, both with matching ensembles.

While this collection offers an abundance of classics, this season also introduces fresh, seasonal flap bag styles.
Chanel moves away from its signature diamond quilting to present a sleek Flap Handbag crafted from plain-grained shiny calfskin leather. Accented with aged-gold-tone hardware and a delicate CC charm detail on the chain shoulder strap, this bag offers a modern twist on the timeless classic. Available in mini ( 5.1 × 6.8 × 2.3 inches) and small (5.9 × 9 × 3.1 inches), it comes in Burgundy, Black, and Light Blue.

For a more modern take on a classic, Chanel introduces the new Flap Bag with Chain. This updated design features the signature lambskin quilted pattern but opts for a more relaxed silhouette with its single-flap construction. The highlight is its intricate interwoven leather chain – chunkier, and shorter, this chain features CC detailing that extends to the sides of the bag. The small Flap Bag with Chain measures 5.46 × 8.19 × 2.73 inches, and comes in Black, Light Beige, and Light Pink – all with gold-tone hardware.
Another statement option is the same design for all-over fluffy shearling lambskin, offered in light pink with gold-tone hardware.

The Flap Bags don’t stop there – this new Classic Flap alternative, crafted from structured caviar leather, features a boxer silhouette for a fresh look. The Mini Flap Bag with Top Handle features a removable chain shoulder strap offering versatile styling options. Measuring 4.3 × 6.2 × 1.6 inches, this new design comes in Light Pink, Camel, Navy, and Black, each in shiny-grained calfskin, and finished with aged-gold-tone hardware.

Diamanté Flap Bags
Diamantés shine brightly this Fall/Winter. Chanel introduces a range of quilted lambskin leather handbags that echo the Classic Flap with an almost open-weave construction, fully embellished with dazzling diamantés and imitation pearls. The mini size measuring 5.07 × 6.24 × 1.76 inches, features a single shoulder strap, versatile enough for both shoulder or crossbody wear. Choose from three colorways – Black and Crystal, So Black, and Beige and Gold.
Meanwhile, the small size, measuring a more roomy 5.7 × 8.8 × 2.5 inches, offers an adjustable chain, thanks to its four eyelets. The small size is available in Black with Crystal, and So Black. It comes as no surprise that the Dimanté Flap Bags are ‘price upon request.’
Shearling Flap Bags
Cozy up with this season’s Shearling Flap Bag. Crafted from a combination of supple Tan lambskin, paired with fuzzy Natural colored shearling on the flap and trim – the bag boasts an oversized quilted design. Finished with aged gold-tone hardware, and available in a mini and small size, this seasonal piece is sure to turn heads.
Choose from the mini size measuring 4.7 x 7.1 x 2.4 inches, or the small coming in at 6.2 × 9.2 × 2.9 inches.
Chanel 22
Lovers of the Chanel 22 are in luck this season, as the must-have downsized version has been reinterpreted in fall-ready shearling.

A new silhouette joins the Fall/Winter collection in the form of the Chanel Camera Case. Boasting an elongated East-West style that echoes the early 2000s Cambon Multipocket bag, the small Camera Case measures 5.1 × 9 × 5.9 inches, while the larger size measures an everyday appropriate 7.1 x 9.4 x 6.7 inches.

Shopping Bag
Exuding vintage vibes, the Shopping Bag delivers timeless Chanel elegance. Crafted in glossy quilted lambskin, this bag features a distinctive chain-through detail secured with the CC turn-lock, which allows for adjustable chain lengths.
