Part III: A Look Beyond Goyard’s Iconic Tote Bags
Every fashion house has its signature – Louis Vuitton’s Monogram, Chanel’s CC turn-lock, and Celine’s Triomphe. And then there’s Goyard, where the Goyardine canvas is central to each design, from the beloved Saint Louis tote to the iconic trunks. But while these classics define Goyard’s image, there’s a range of hidden gems beneath the surface.
As we continue our journey through Goyard’s offerings, it’s time to uncover even more of the Maison’s handbags. Here’s a closer look at five more designs that deserve their moment in the spotlight – some new, some old, all classically Goyard.
Chypre Wallet-Pouch
While the name Chypre may evoke thoughts of Hermès’ coveted sandals, Goyard’s interpretation takes a fresh approach to the wallet-on-chain style — albeit without the chain!

This compact, envelope-style bag measures 8.2 x 1.9 x 6.2 inches and features a classic satchel-like silhouette. Named after the island of Cyprus, the chypre pouch is a rendition of Goyard’s Chypre document case. Described by the Maison as “light, versatile, and practical,” the Chypre Wallet-Pouch is tailored for day to night.
The exterior combines Goyardine canvas with Chevroches calfskin accents, secured with a signature Goyard clasp. Its detachable, adjustable leather strap allows for multiple styling options — worn crossbody, over the shoulder, or as a clutch. Inside, you’ll find six card slots for organized storage, eliminating the need for an additional wallet, along with ample space for daily essentials.
The Chypre Wallet-Pouch is available in eleven iconic Goyard shades, including Red, Orange, and White, each accented with the Maison’s signature silver-tone hardware.
Hirondelle Bag
Goyard’s latest release, the Hirondelle, enters as the Maison’s answer to the structured hobo trend, blending heritage craftsmanship with modern appeal. Released in September 2024, the bag draws inspiration from the “Hirondelle”— a traditional artisan tool used for precise leather cutting — reflected in its unique half-moon shape.

The adjustable leather strap allows for versatile styling, with eight holes for length adjustment, enabling you to wear it short or long to suit your mood. This flexibility makes it an ideal choice for both everyday use and travel.
Available in eleven signature Goyard colors, the bag is paired with classic silver-tone hardware.
Saïgon Structuré Nano Bag
Originating from a bespoke order in the 1930s, the Goyard Saïgon was reissued in the early 2000s. Known for its distinctive hand-carved beechwood top handle and trunk-inspired design, the Saïgon lineup exudes a rich heritage appeal.

The Saïgon Structuré is available in two sizes as part of the permanent collection — Mini and PM. Occasionally, however, Goyard releases the charming Saïgon Structuré in the irresistibly cute Nano size. Measuring just 5.7 x 2.7 x 4.5 inches, this structured mini bag retains all the signature details of its larger counterparts, transformed into a delightful mini trunk.
Crafted from a combination of Goyardine canvas and Chevroches calfskin, the Nano version forgoes the usual natural-colored beechwood handle and wood trim for sleek black details. Lightweight and compact, the Saïgon Structuré Nano can be styled with or without its adjustable shoulder strap, making it perfect for day-to-night transitions.
As part of Goyard’s 2024 collection, the Saïgon Structuré Nano is offered in three limited-edition iridescent shades – Pearly Green, Pearly Blue, and Pearly Pink — each featuring a glittering effect.

Balancing utility with elegance, the Alpin Mini channels the aesthetic of the larger MM model in a compact 9 x 3.7 x 7.4-inch size. Versatile straps with carabiner clips allow for varied carrying options – as a backpack, slung over one shoulder, or held by the curved top handle with straps removed.
Goyard’s Alpin Mini Backpack is available in eleven signature colorways, ranging from classic Black and Gray to bold shades like Orange, Green, and Yellow.
Conti Pouch
While the Sénat Pouch is often the go-to accessory for versatility from Goyard, there’s another lesser-known design worth exploring within the lineup.
Meet the Conti Pouch. Crafted from Goyardine canvas and accented with Chevroches calfskin trim, this pouch features a zip-top closure and reinforced corners, making it a practical choice for various uses. Whether you need a bag organizer, a beach companion, or an everyday carry, the Conti Pouch fits the bill. It comes with a non-removable wristlet strap, allowing you to carry it by hand or around your wrist, day or night.
Generously sized at 9.4 x 2.5 x 8.6 inches, the Conti Pouch strikes a perfect balance between the PM and MM sizes of the Sénat Pouch, offering greater depth for added storage of your essentials.
Goyard’s Conti Pouch is available in Goyard’s eleven shades.
