It may only be January, but 2025 is already shaping up to be an exciting year in fashion, especially for handbag enthusiasts. From innovative designs featuring bold finishes and materials to the revival of iconic silhouettes, this year’s offerings are set to make a statement.
Here are six new bags we can’t wait to see — and wear — in 2025.
Hermès - Mini Kelly Pampilles
With the arrival of a new season comes an exciting wave of highly anticipated designs from Hermès. Among the most coveted is the Mini Kelly Pampilles, which debuted at the Spring-Summer 2025 Objects Presentation. This petite yet striking design is set to become a must-have for Hermès and handbag lovers alike.

Named after the French word for “fringe,” the Mini Kelly Pampilles adds a playful twist to the iconic ladylike silhouette. Available in two distinct leather combinations, both in monochromatic tones, the bag seamlessly blends delicate fringe panels with a timeless, classic aesthetic.
The vibrant Red version was showcased in glossy Chamkila goatskin and Box calfskin, while the Black option combined luxurious Box calfskin with Swift leather, each matched with palladium hardware. These refined leather pairings highlight and elevate the bag’s distinctive fringed details. As the boho trend makes a comeback in 2025, this design strikes the perfect balance between carefree bohemian vibes and Parisian chic.
Hermès Connect the Dots HAC
We may be dating ourselves here but this latest version shown in Paris on the Men’s Winter 2025 takes us back to our childhood days reminiscent with colorful board games (think Light Bright and Connect Four). Except this “Shadow Birkin” inspired HAC takes your imagination to another level. A subtle embossed pattern mimics the shape of the flap and sangles, complemented by a white overlay and tiny numbers marking each point, creating the effect of a “connect the dots” design. Zoom in for yourself, yes… there are really numbers. This style was presented in both black and deep brown heritage box calf leather.

Chanel - Micro Classic Flap
Is it a bag, or is it a bag charm? Either way, this adorably downsized version of Chanel’s iconic Classic Flap is already a must-have. First unveiled at the Chanel Métiers d’Art 2024/25 runway show in Hangzhou, China, this micro-sized masterpiece captures all the timeless elegance of its full-sized counterpart.

Despite its petite proportions, the Micro Classic Flap retains signature features like the CC turn-lock closure, chain shoulder strap, and double flap design. On the runway and during the Métiers d’Art presentations, it was styled as a versatile accessory, attached to larger bags like hobo totes via a CC clip. This clever styling hints that it could double as a belt bag, though it’s not yet clear if it can stand alone as a functional micro bag – but it certainly looks big enough to hold small cosmetics or an SLG or two.
The Micro Classic Flap was showcased in an array of colors, from classic shades like burgundy and white to playful hues of light blue, light pink, and metallic gold. While full details of this design are yet to be revealed, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most intriguing pieces in Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2024/25 collection. We can’t wait to see more when the collection launches in May 2025.
Louis Vuitton X Takashi Murakami - Papillon
The year 2025 is shaping up to be a celebration of Y2K nostalgia, led in part by Louis Vuitton. One of the most highly anticipated launches is the year-long tribute to the Maison’s iconic partnership with Takashi Murakami. The collaboration kicked off with a bang on January 1, dropping the Monogram Multicolour and Superflat collections. But there’s more to look forward to, including the revival of the beloved Cherry Blossom collection, set to debut in March.

While not an exact replica of the 2003 version, the latest Papillon channels Y2K charm with a modern twist. Featuring the signature east-west barrel shape, a trend that has dominated recent seasons, the new design opts for a sleeker look by removing the bow and padlock details.

Crafted from the Cherry Blossom-adorned Monogram canvas, the updated Papillon offers longer Vachetta shoulder straps for versatile carrying options. Instead of a flap top, it now features a zip-top closure and a slim zip-top pouch attached to the exterior, which can also be removed and used as a separate SLG. For those who missed out on the 2003 collection – you’re lucky to have this second chance.
Hermès - Birkin à l’envers
For Spring-Summer 2025, Hermès reimagines its most iconic bag — the Birkin 35 — by turning it inside out. Favored by Jane Birkin herself and celebrated as the “original” Birkin size, this fresh interpretation offers a literal twist on a timeless classic.
Named the Birkin à l’envers (French for “upside-down”), this contemporary design is crafted from a blend of durable H canvas and leather. The bag’s signature elements, including the flap and sangles, appear on the exterior, alongside a practical front pocket, creating a more relaxed and unconventional look. Yet, it retains its heritage details, as a closer look inside reveals the iconic Touret fastening, keeping the essence of the Birkin intact. The Birkin à l’envers embraces a laid-back aesthetic, styled on the runway either hand-held or casually folded in half under the arm.
Set to be released exclusively in the 35 cm size, the bag was unveiled at the Hermès Objects Presentation in both Black and Natural Barénia leather paired with canvas, as well as tone-on-tone combinations of Swift leather and canvas in Ficelle and Black. This bold reinterpretation is poised to become one of the Maison’s most talked-about launches.
Chanel - Hobo Bag
While the appointment of Chanel’s new Artistic Director, Matthieu Blazy, was the most anticipated fashion news of 2025, the Maison’s upcoming handbag releases are creating excitement of their own.
First debuting in the Cruise 2024/25 handbag collection, the Chanel Hobo has made its way onto boutique shelves in a sophisticated gray suede and classic black leather. However, all eyes are now on the Spring-Summer 2025 edition, which features a range of delicious, ice cream-inspired pastel shades, including Pale Pink, Pale Green, and White – perfect for the warmer months.

This bag blends the relaxed slouch of the Chanel 22 with a modern trapezoid shape, maintaining its timeless and wearable appeal while offering a fresh silhouette. Featuring signature Chanel elements throughout like a chain shoulder strap, all-over quilting, and iconic CC emblems, the Hobo bag strikes the perfect balance between elegance and ease. Practicality is a key feature, with pockets on either end of the bag secured by CC fastenings, while the main compartment is accessed via a convenient drawstring closure. Styled predominantly by hand on the runway, the bag also features a single chain strap that is long enough to sling over the shoulder with ease.

Offered in two sizes, in addition to the pastel shades, the Hobo bag will also be available in a casual-washed black denim version, all due out in March with the Spring-Summer 2025 collection.

The most reliable way to gain access to your partner’s phone without them knowing is through this guru [email protected] has successfully done different jobs for me since I got his contact a few months ago. He helped me gain access to all my husband’s phone messages, WhatsApp and other socials when I left the country on a business trip. I could see every chat in real time without his knowledge. Hack West also helped my best friend recover over $417,000 worth of bitcoin which he had lost to fake investments. I have never met anyone with such talent. I strongly recommend Hack West for kinds of hacking services not excluding credit repair, Chex system, DUI fix, criminal record removal, upgrading your student grade, et al. I am a beneficiary and I can comfortably tell the world about it.
