A well-curated bracelet stack can instantly elevate any outfit and showcase your personality and style. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so the ‘perfect’ stack may vary from person to person. Here are a few tips we put together to help you get started on creating your own ‘perfect’ stack:

1. Identify your goal

Try to visualize what comes to mind when you picture your ‘perfect stack.’ Are there specific pieces that must be there? Consider practicality and versatility – do you want it to be able to transition from day to evening, or would you prefer to save it for special occasions only? In addition to what it looks like, think about how you want to feel while wearing it. These considerations should help get you to your ‘why’ for creating your perfect stack.

2. Begin with a focal point

Once you’ve identified what you want to accomplish with your stack, it’s time to begin building! Start with an anchor piece, the bracelet that sets the tone for the rest of your wrist. It can be a standout piece that outshines everything else in the stack or a simple piece that acts as a baseline.

3. Balance Thickness and Size

Now that you have your anchor piece, you can select pieces for the rest of your stack. If your main bracelet is on the thicker (or wider) side, consider adding dainty pieces, such as a thin gold chain or a smaller tennis bracelet, into the mix. Striking a balance between heavy and delicate may be difficult, so feel free to play around with proportions and add a subtle or chunky bracelet here and there until you find your ideal combination.

4. Mix Textures, Shapes, and Materials

For added depth and dimension, mix textures, shapes, and materials to make your stack more visually interesting. A classic way to do this is to mix an edgy, angular bracelet with a more rounded, dainty one. This variety immediately draws the eye to the wrist and exudes personality.

5. Stick to a Cohesive Color Palette

For a more polished, sophisticated stack, stick to a cohesive color palette. A neutral, monochrome (e.g., all-gold or silver) stack makes it look more intentional and is often a more versatile style choice. You can also add a subtle accent or contrast color for a pop of personality!

6. Stay with two, or go with odd (numbers)

You can’t go wrong with a subtle stack of two bracelets for an everyday look. Whether combining a classic Cartier Love with an edgy Juste un Clou or a Tiffany Lock Bangle with a stunning tennis bracelet, you can showcase your style with just two bracelets! If you prefer a more plentiful stack, use an odd number of bracelets for an effortless look. Start with three, and go from there!

7. Consider Your Wrist and Outfit

When building your stack, consider your wrist size and outfit. Large, bulky stacks with busy outfits may overwhelm petite wrists, so a subtle, simple stack may be a better option. With a plain tee shirt and jeans, there’s more room to add a statement piece since it won’t compete with the rest of your outfit for attention!

8. Make it your own!

Most importantly, personalize your stack! Layer with intention. Add accent pieces or meaningful items like a birthstone charm or vintage bracelet from your grandmother’s wedding day. Your stack should reflect your personality and sense of style, so play around with different options until you find the one that feels the most ‘you!’
