Oh Dior, when it comes to bags, can you give us more? The Fall 2025 collection repeated styles already in the lineup . . . some embellished with pearls and fringe or given an exotic treatment . . . and one new style used on repeat.

Maria Grazia Chuiri’s collection was inspired by Virginia Woolf’s 1928 novel about an Elizabethan boy who turns into a woman. Not exactly a new muse . . . as it has been used as a fashion theme by many designers over the decades.
Perhaps then, it’s not surprising to see a smattering of stalwarts like the Lady Dior, Saddle, and Book Tote, some updated and upgraded with adornment, along with newer models like the Toujours in multiple sizes and the D-Journey strapped across the back.

The gender-neutral Saddle bag with a pearl chain strap . . . interesting juxtaposition. Or the Saddle with fringe worn crossbody on the back – edgy perhaps. A gold box clutch could complete any ensemble.

But the runway handbag star, if based on solely on frequency of appearance, was a new squishy pouch-like style with a top handle. At times, it was folded like a fortune cookie. Other times, the look was more of a pouf. Could it be the vertical Toujours? Probably not, as that bag has more structure. The same goes for the already-introduced bucket style known as the C’est Dior bucket bag.
On the other hand, could it be a revival of the older Dior Paradise Bubble bag? Or something completely new?
The many iterations included leather, fabric, pearls, fringe, and lace.
