Reality TV royalty Kim Kardashian West recently treated her fans to a tour of her closet, posting a picture on Instagram last month captioned ‘Fittings’. The Kardashian-Jenner clan have long inspired closet envy but this closet snap in particular caught our eye as it’s filled to the brim with luxury purses from the likes of Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

The size of the star’s closet had many in the handbag-loving community in awe. One fan even joked that Kardashian’s closet was bigger than their entire home (ours too)!
To our delight the star’s closet was Hermès galore – Kardashian owns everything from iconic H pieces like the Kelly to more unique finds like a custom made Travel Birkin painted by renowned artist George Condo. Speaking of travel, the fashion and beauty mogul compliments her jet-set lifestyle with an enviable collection of Louis Vuitton luggage pieces. The star is a fan of both the classic Monogram and Damier Graphite canvases. While it’s clear Kardashian is a lover of big bags, she certainly doesn’t shy away from mini (and even micro) pieces – a favorite of ours has to be the mini Chanel design in black.

This purse is truly one of a kind. Hand-painted by acclaimed artist George Condo, the design is artsy to say the least. It depicts several monster-like nude figures and was gifted to her by husband Kayne West who has collaborated with Condo in the past.
Any Birkin bag comes with a hefty price tag but since Condo’s paintings have been known to sell for over a million dollars we can only imagine how much this bag set West back.

While it’s the mini version of this style that has garnered a strong following on social media, Kardashian is a fan of the larger size and we can certainly understand why given the bag’s structured design that honours Louis Vuitton’s rich heritage.
