Okay, let’s start with the bag that you knew was going to be on this list. What would a Chanel mini round-up be without the Classic Flap? Here, we’ve chosen it in a crocodile-effect, metallic gold iteration from the (Egyptian-themed) Métiers d’Art collection. We love this version, and it totally exemplifies what’s so great about this adorable bag: the absolute versatility.

Is it just us, or do camera cases always turn out to be the perfect mini bags? They’re such simple zip cross-bodies, with an easy-to-use shape. And Chanel classes this bag up with chainlink straps and the classic CC logo.

Since the Gabrielle was released in 2017, it’s become an instant classic: the kind of bag whose legendary status creeps up on you, and suddenly it’s on every celeb’s shoulder in town. We know this may be controversial, but we think the Chanel Mini 2.55 Flap might be even cuter than the Mini Classic Flap… PurseBop has always loved the original Chanel Flap, with its storied history and evocation of Coco herself. And like the mini Classic Flap, it’s one of the most versatile bags around.
