I disagree with impact of instagram, if anything it created more desire for bag. When I think I fell in love with a bag at first sight, I visit the store several times so that it sinks in and I am sure it will be a long term love-this-bag relationship and not just impulsive and won’t-love-it-as-much-later-on relationship.. same for instagram, I check photos of the bag for days until I am sure she’s the one..Instagram created more exposure especially for people who do not have accessability to stores in their countries and after viewing on instagram they can buy online.

it is true that social media played a major role on the brand fatigue. Instagram, YouTube and Google makes it easier for consumers to have a preview of the bag which sometimes kills the excitement of the consumers. The existing preloved market also contributed to this phenomenon, honestly there’s a lot of great bags at a friendlier price which consumers love. Designs of bags are like being copied or looks the same which is where “If they have it, i don’t want it.” comes in. in my opinion its not just having the bag but the poise in carrying it. its a tough choice and challenge, but it’s up to you on how to shine in a sea of designer handbags. xoxo

Hi Tiffany, yes it is possible and I remember Hermes even encouraged me to do that a few years ago. Since a few years I have ordered only in one boutique (I am also in Europe) and they always got me the piece I wanted as I have a good Relationship with a saler. So do not hesitate.

I think finding one SA at one store that you really connect with is what is key in your case; maybe two since you have so many options so close. Visit often. Learn your SAs details and schedule and make small purchases you really enjoy and communicate to your SA what your collection is like and what your goals are, etc. Hermes values clients who appreciate the brand truly, and aren’t just in the store wanting a B or K – I’m sure you already know this!!! I’m def not an expert but this is directly what my SA has said to me – I have a purchase history in two stores, one in Europe and one in the states and it’s irritating bc the two systems don’t communicate. Europe can’t see my bag purchases in the states and vice versa. I think your best bet is to stick with one store/SA that you enjoy and connect with and I promise it will pay off sooner than you think!!! ??❌⭕️❌⭕️

A web search revealed that the Paris Summer 2016 sale begins June 22. The Hermes sale at the Palais Congres will probably start either June 22 or 29. The date will not be confirmed by Hermes for a few more months. Let’s hope the dollar stays strong and Hermes does not universalize their prices. Same prices world wide)

My favorite bag of the moment is my bleu roi jumbo! ??? I can’t get over how beautiful this shade of blue is and together with the silver hardware I just absolutely love the combination. And I love single flaps! It’s so easy to use and can fit a ton! Thanks for letting me share! ??????

I had to put alot of thought on this thread to pick my favorite bag of the moment… I love all my babies so much… So I reduced my choices to my vintage CC, my red Valentino Glam Lock and my Hermès bougainvillea chevre Kelly Wallet… Very tough decision ? But in the end Grandma CC won… My love for Chanel is so out of this world that when I finally got Grandma, I felt complete… I feel so confident and special when I take her out (hey, Lady Di had this bag, one should feel very special when wearing it ?)❤️ She maybe an oldie but she has my heart! Chanel bags will always have my heart and be my favorite☺️❤️???
