????????????
This photos just shared with us from @bikini_and_pretzels – when she shared one image earlier today, I nearly did a cartwheel, LOL. I requested a full series of modeling shots for you and she kindly indulged us ❣️
The mini Lindy looks fabulous —game changer in our opinion!
What are you thoughts?
In all the excitement we forgot to get the exact price, but we’ll revert with that tomorrow unless one of you can share in comments.
Voila…

Now the Turkish presidents wife is facing back lash for a US $50,000 worth of Birkin and a $15000 mayfly shaped brooch.
Saying that the presidents salary is 39000 Turkish Lira. And the B costs around 215,000 Turkish Lira. So did he spend 6 months salary for the bag. When turkey is going through major issues.
Issues like a man committed suicide because on his daughters birthday he had only 50 cents to spend for her.
Brings me to a debatable topic. Can famous people have a responsibility to the society? Can’t they live their life and buy what they want, if they have the money ( like in case of Nita Ambani). Why are they attacked. I understand people attacking her for the exotic crocodile skin but she should use money for good causes was not justified as they do hell lot of charity

I usually get an invitation a week before hermes sale, I dont know why, this time, I didn’t receive it, while the 2 people I took with me did receive theirs. 2 years ago I gave my invitation to IG friend. Luckily the old fashion of the list with names was available and very useful because my name was still there. I’m not going to make stories, I was embarrassed showing up without noting. VIP policy sale is more and more strict. The new rules is to get more people with invitations on the 1st day, so the 2 days left for public are no longer chaotic like it was. You dont even get to the stairs without showing invitation at the security entry. rules also are very strict, two people per/invitation has to go in together otherwise entry is denied, they careful check your full name on the list and take away the invitation. finally in, unlike January sales, for the 1st time I was lucky to finally get my hands on an hermes avalon blanket –my best catch.
Unlike the winter sale I find it more crowded because any guest bring in give her his address so that personne will receive an invitation, maybe to lower the time public wait on the line on the public days.
About pictures, is very difficult, the security is instructed to stop people for taking pictures, ???????? are all over the space. as soon as somebody pull out a phone to take pic they are behind you to warm that’s is STRICTLY forbidden.

Unfortunately NZ is not really a shopping paradise. Gucci NZ used to have one of the lowest price worldwide (much cheaper than buying in Europe), hence you would always see a crazy long line outside the store, and stocks were constantly low. However price has increased gradually every so often and since early this year it’s no longer so, Europe pricing is better. No Chanel (bags and clothes, only a beauty/cosmetic store), or Hermes here. LV, Dior, Prada boutiques are on Queen Street (the main street in Auckland CBD). DFS is around the corner from those boutiques mentioned above, there are some selections of brands there. Oh worth mentioning, LV stocks on limited ed items and hot items are more readily available. I’m quite surprised to be able to score the Monogram Giant Cannes bag (they got one transferred from LV Queenstown), I even get to see and try the Monogram Giant Boite Chapeau Souple which I could get if I want to (someone who reserved it didn’t want it). I was in Paris 1.5 weeks ago, all LV boutiques in Paris said no no no to either of the bags, said needed reservation, VIP, or whatever reason they gave me to reject my request. They also have the standard monogram reverse Cannes readily available.
Oh Rolex (paying duty free price) is worth buying in NZ, cheapest worldwide I heard, but the hot items usually have long wait list… Two authorized dealers (Partridge and Mansur) on Queen St. Partridge has an airport store too.
There’s Tiffany & Co, not sure about the stocks availability and pricing. Cartier is inside DFS. You would pay for duty free prices for the luxury goods (at least 15% less than retail price), but you can only pick up the items in the airport when you leave the country. That’s the way it works here in NZ.
Hope this helps :) welcome and enjoy NZ!!

The secondary market can’t affect the pricing! The only thing that can affect the pricing is the supply and demand in the primary market. Hermes has to control this!! If they give so much supply then bags become more available on the secondary market driving down prices and exclusivity. With this Hermes loses because people don’t have to jump through their hoops establishing a relationship to get a coveted Birkin. That makes Hermes lose a lot of money! They need to keep them on short supply! Also the Evelyn has done a great job holding value! A beautiful black pristine 2001 crocodile Kelly just sold st auction this week in.chicago for $12k. I was shocked it went so low! That’s troubling.

I am just seeing this now, I adore this my investigative friend. May I share on IG to get some responses?
Too cute ????

The sale was so worth it, yet you really need to be there early enough to get a good spot in the line. 60% is definitely a good deal and after all it is Hermes we are talking about!
These are few things I was able to find and some advice based on my experience today. Good luck to those who are planning to hunt for good deals at Hermes Dubai Sale over the weekend! Enjoy!

The Dubai Sale was definitely worth a visit. The queue is like a walk in the park compared to Paris. The queue was around 3 rows long. But your served canapés and cooled water. So hardly a difficult wait.
Prices were 60% of silk scarves
60% of shoes
And 40% of clothes
There were no bag charms or bracelets.
No orans
It was a great experience and not stressful, I got 3 shoes and 2 scarves. You are limited to 2 scarves.
No limit on shoes. They will refresh stock every morning for the sale.

You are new to Hermes? There used to be annual H sales in London but that was ages ago . I don’t think there has been one since about 2012. Too much demand for Hermes to need a sale.

Do you know if they will ever do a Hermes sale here in the UK? Thank you!!

Nice collection and I appreciate your work. I had had bags that were bought from Hermes, LV, and Coach outlet online stores. But it seemed to me that I’ve never seen this one. Anyway, I like it very much. By the way, here is a list of different types of Coach outlet bags, including handbags, crossbody, and wallets: https://www.kislly.com/coach-outlet-handbags-crossbody-wallets/

Lately is was a controversy about Dolce & Gabbana, now Prada.
we call in french “les ayatollah de la pensée” in others words “ayatollah of thinking”… i wonder how frightening is for designers to pull out any design, wondering if critics will not blame them about anything and everything that they dont like, self proclaiming this or that is offensive. like any industry, there are self proclaimed leaders ready to decide and easily find supporters for their “politically correctness”
frankly i do not find nothing offensive at all… did anyone ever a black so dark skin like this with red lips like this.. did any human being black or whatever color look like this display dolls?
come on, this is total nonsense. in fact all these controversies are taking place in US, a country so polirised that anything and everything is an offense for the other side…
here is an example that happen sometime ago in France, my country. Louis Vuitton designer is a black american (why is that black people in US are label African-american, is white or whatever origin are too label something- american?????????♀️crazy!!!) why did LV hire him? because he is talented and dispite the declaration of one member of Guerlain (which is one of LVHM many brands) against black people, many “opinions leaders” within black communuty call to boycott LV and all the brands of the group, that didnt went anywhere because in France LV largest custumers are Asians and Africans or black people. LVMH distance himself for Guerlain heir apologise and with a black designer just hit the ceiling with huge profits from his custumers.
so to come up with racism accusation against Prada because some innocent dark dolls with red lips, is total BS. the plastic industry is making billion of $ with all kind of people wanting big lips.
ps: sorry for my terrible writing in english.

Goodmorning to all,
I had the most terrible news yesterday!
My go-to Hermès store, which I visit every month, is closing down permanently!
Forever!
I am so sad. And don’t know what to do next… I always feared that my favorite SA would stop working there, and that that would be the worst thing ever, but now it 1000x worst. They will remain open for the next 2 months to come…
This store was a franchise store, and they have decided to stop their contract apparently and as owners have several other luxury businesses too, they will reopen the store in a few months selling other types of luxury products (the best of the best, so i bet they are excited for it…)
The good news is the entire team will continue working in the new store, and I am happy and grateful for that….
This means I will have to go a new store for future purchases, but all other stores are much further away than my current one, and the one that is closest to my house; well they are not really nice there. The staff has an attitude problem and the store is so big that you never see the same SA twice.
My current Hermes store has asked me to visit them a lot the upcoming few weeks that are left, and I surely will do so.
The good news is that exactly 2 weeks ago they called me into their store with an excuses, and all of the sudden a big orange box appeared. It was a pictoin 18 in Rouge Casaque! I asked for one about a year ago and all of a sudden it had arrived. The bag is just so perfect and playful and cute and I am so happy with it. (I still need to post instagram pictures of it). I am so glad I still was able to get my hands on this bag before they closed. But now I am still sad…
Sorry to go on about this here, but I needed to “tell” somebody, anybody… my friends are not into luxury bags and they would not understand me being upset about a store closing…
I do know who will be happy though: MY WALLET! Not having a favorite Hermes-store nearby will surely mean I will save a lot of money now…

Hello, I store the less used bags in the Dust bag and keep them at the back of the closet. My friend suggested that I use the box to contain them but I feel like it uses too much space and I would still want them handy just incase I decide to use.
A while back I found a website that uses a customised image/ color of the bag printed on the Dustcover and that seemed like a good idea

Hello congratulations on your upcoming wedding first of all! I would suggest waiting until you are ready to buy, I don’t think you would be able to resist the beauty of an H or K after its been offered to you. I know I could not. So it wouldnt be a good idea to strain your finances before a large event such as a wedding. Again, congrats!
- Almal replied 6 years ago
I personally did not like the collection at all, I’m more of a classic monogram kinda gal
- Almal replied 6 years ago
I would keep the Magnolia, Kellys are timeless.. but thats just me.

I’m looking forward to getting an SLG to commemorate the collab (I am also a self-professed crazy cat lady), but don’t think I’d go for a larger piece
