Police were called to a shopping mall in California on Monday evening after thieves stole thousands of dollars worth of Louis Vuitton handbags.
Police are currently searching for 11 suspects thought to be involved in the heist. A total of 36 handbags were stolen worth around $100,000.
The theft occurred at the Louis Vuitton store in the Stanford Shopping Centre in Palo Alto, California at around 5:30 pm.
Reports reveal that the suspects, whose faces were covered with face masks, escaped through the mall and got into five different vehicles.
The suspects are thought to be in their late teens or early 20s and are currently all at large.
This is the third similar heist in the same number of weeks, as two Bay Area department stores suffered handbag losses sounding suspiciously similar.
