this looks amazing, it even lights up inside! i’d love to see more pictures
“The 314, a luxury handbag made in Italy with technology designed at MIT, is both good-looking and smart – and is poised to hit the market soon. The bag can charge your cellphone or any other USB-enabled device, and light up when you are rummaging through its insides. Plus, it can order a power pack refill before the system runs out of juice. And no, you don’t have to plug in your handbag every night.”

I agree with design4life, it really would be better if you could incorporate the system into bags you already have… but interesting concept. Any idea of it´s price? Thank you for sharing hotsauce.

very cool, but some how I think I prefer my Birkin. How about a guy on the other hand? Maybe if they made a messenger bag or ‘nurse’ as they call it?
Very cool concept though, thanks for sharing hotsauce.

It honestly isn’t bad looking for a bag that is mostly for techy purposes! If the battery works and it isn’t totally gimmicky, I’d think about buying it honestly

great idea, but do you think the battery will hold up to the claims? I feel like re-ordering the power packs will get expensive…I’d rather put that money towards a good leather classic bag and buy the lame portable chargers LOL

Not to be Debbie-downer, but I don’t think hard core fashionistas will go for it – they/we want the “it” and “anti-it” bags. Now a charging bag insert is another story . . .
