Dedicated to making her daughter’s fifth birthday unforgettable, resulted in an extravagant gift. Kulture was the lucky recipient of a show-stopping bubble gum pink Birkin bag. This luxurious Hermès Birkin bag could be worth a staggering $20,000 or more. In a collection of birthday photos posted on Instagram, Cardi B shared photos of Kulture posing with her brand-new Birkin. We certainly wouldn’t forget that birthday gift in a hurry!

No stranger to the French fashion house Hermès, Cardi B is known for her huge collection of Birkin bags. Back in 2021, the New York-born rapper shared a glimpse into her collection on Instagram – which featured at least 26 iconic Birkin bags. However, we’re certain this is just a select few of the bags within her vast collection…

During Cardi B’s most recent Euro trip to Paris Couture Fashion Week, it was revealed that there was a hidden agenda. As expected, the rapper’s appearances and front-row moments capture attention. However, although Cardi B had a jam-packed schedule during this trip, she was on a mission to acquire a highly coveted Birkin bag to add to her collection. During a video with Vogue, Cardi B humorously mentioned that:

“Everybody thinks I came here for Couture Week, but I really came here to buy a Birkin bag. I cannot find it anywhere in the States. Let me tell you something, I’ve been looking for this Birkin for two months, and then my Hermès plug said that it was coming to New York, and I think she sold it to somebody else. It’s ok because I came here to get it myself.”

The notoriously hard-to-acquire Birkin bag remains an obstacle to many. As a result, even if you’re a celebrity, fashion editor, royalty, or in this case, the infamous Cardi B, it doesn’t matter how much money you have – the competition for these bags remains fierce.

Bringing Home the Birkin

Despite the challenge, Cardi B secured the goods! Cardi B visited the flagship Faubourg Saint Honoré and met with Michael Coste, Head of Hermès’ client relations.

Cardi B’s Birkin dreams became a reality during this trip, and she was presented with a black shiny Croc Birkin 30. During her visit to the iconic FSH boutique, Cardi B was spotted by several other luxe lovers, and fans alike. It wasn’t long before videos of her trying on her beloved new Birkin were circulating on social media…
