Word is, today is the last day to buy Chanel exotics. As you may recall, Chanel announced last December that it would no longer use alligator, croc, furs and more as it instituted a self-imposed ban. Read: https://www.pursebop.com/chanel-drops-exotics/
We can debate whether this is altruistic or a sound business decision (or both), but actually stopping the sale of pre-existing bags seems unusual.
