I am loving all the adorable minis everyone has been posting and pondering getting one myself, I have never been a fan of super large bags except for travel as they overwhelm me. So my dilemma is this, I am petite and afraid the shoulder strap will be too long on me especially since you cannot double up the straps on the Chanel mini like with larger flap bags. I’m really not fond of wearing bags cross body either. Does anyone know the strap drop on a classic Chanel mini or mini Lady Dior or if it’s short enough to wear on the shoulder?

Hi!
I just bought my Miss Dior Promenade in Paris a couple of weeks ago! At first I wanted to buy the Chanel mini, but in the boutique I found that they had nothing mini in stock anymore. And due to the price increase I figured out that it was getting way to expensive (in my opinion), altough I love it so much! The chain is about 120cm and you can wear it in 4 different ways! I’m only 160cm, and can wear it cross body and just over the shoulder with ease :-)

Hi there! I am a bit of a mini addict so let me give you a little help at least on the Chanel front. The Chanel mini typically has a 22 inch drop. I am 5’7″ so wearing cross body is doable but not perfect. This might fall a little long over the shoulder if you are petite. However the new mini I just bought is a 4 hole mini and therefore can be doubled up and carried like the larger flaps. The disadvantage for me with this one is that the strap is shorter so I can not wear cross body at all. But this might be perfect for you :) I’ll take a couple of quick pics. As for DIOR, I am curious too. The strap appears longer from the images I am seeing on IG.
I just measured this one for you and drop length is 17″ .

Thanks, this helps a lot! 22″ is a tad long but I think yours would be perfect for me and the doubling option would be a huge selling point. Do you know if it came in any other colors or variations? Dior at least I could remove the strap if it was too long…

Congratulations, she is a stunning classic beauty and the color is divine! The size looks perfect as well. I wasn’t aware of this style, I don’t seem to see it as much as the Lady Dior but this is definitely something I would wear ?
