Hermès Chicago store to re-open.. (well sort of)
To paraphrase Mark Twain, rumors of its demise have been greatly exaggerated. Perhaps understandably. Shuttered like all the other H stores in the United States due to COVID-19, the Chicago location (also like many others) faced city-located protests and looting.
The store is to reopen week of September 14th – but by appointment only. You can call to make in-person/ in-store shopping appointments.
However please be considerate and understand it will take a few weeks for the sales associates to get back on their feet and for the store to replenish inventories. It’s best to keep realistic expectations for the immediate future.
Do we hear a collective cheer for our Chicago store ????????
