Hi ladies,
I just called Dubai to find out about their beige jumbo classic flap and both stores have said they won’t be recieving anymore! ??? Why ? Does anyone know the reason for this? Also, you have to be on a wish list for the black classic flap! This is horrible news for someone like me that doesn’t have a CHANEL store in their country! I will only be in Dubai for 4 days. The shop assistant said they have no idea when they will be getting more stock! It could take 2 to 4 months! Is this normal?

Hi.. Yes! So frustrating! We don’t have a CHANEL store in my country (South Africa) so I have to wait until I travel.. So it is upsetting when they tell you they will not be recieving any more beige! I put my name on the wish list for the black.. It’s almost like they want to be like Hermes with the waiting list! They should work with online deposits so that if you live in South Africa for example they can at least reserve your bag/s until you get there!

tashy_tash1 I know how frustrating it is when we want something, are wiling to buy, but we are told no availabilities. Chanel has tried to reduce the availability of the classics. They are available in limited quantities and seem to arrive at a very paced rate. It’s quite possible the store has exceeded its classics quota. Having said this I wouldn’t loose hope completely. Visit the store and keep calling, they may be surprised by a delivery. Here in the US there is a wait list for the classics. From my personal experience the wait list gets longer closer to a price increase. Have you thought of having it shipped from a department store here in the US? I can send you a reference if you need one :)
I hope you find your bag because it’s far more fun to have the full experience and inspect your treasure to be in person.
