Dior is making waves this summer with a strategic move towards seaside locations. The luxury brand is set to launch a series of pop-up stores and concept boutiques in resort destinations across Europe and beyond, as part of its Dioriviera campaign.
The lineup includes seven permanent and seasonal boutiques in iconic spots including Saint-Tropez, Cannes, and Monaco, as well as new locations in Athens and Marbella. Additionally, Dior will introduce seven pop-up stores in cities like Sanya, Seoul, and Beverly Hills, showcasing the Dioriviera beach collection.
In addition, twelve seasonal resort concept stores are scheduled to debut for summer retailing, kicking off this week in Portofino, Italy, and extending throughout April and May. Other destinations include Cyprus, Cannes, Ibiza, Bodrum, Porto Cervo, Montenegro, Paraggi, and two locations each in Mykonos, Greece, and Capri, Italy.
A number of these locations will incorporate cafés, and of courser, seasonally appropriate beach-inspired decor. Dior lovers can expect a range of summery items, including ponchos, straw hats, and sandals, all adorned with the signature Toile de Jouy Soleil, and Toile de Jouy Sauvage prints.
Exploring the world of resort-wear and Cruise collections, Dior’s Cruise runway shows have always embraced a globetrotting spirit. However, in a surprising departure from a traditionally ‘sunny’ locale, Dior will unveil its Cruise 2025 collection amidst the picturesque gardens of Drummond Castle in Scotland. Although not the typical choice for a beach-themed showcase, this unexpected venue pays homage to Monsieur Dior’s affection for the country, infusing the brand’s global runway with a touch of heritage.
With these strategic moves, Dior is not only capitalizing on the profitable resort retail market but also introducing fresh and unexpected elements into its Cruise collection reputation.
Will you be visiting one of the Dioriviera pop-ups this summer season?
