French fashion house Dior is again taking to Harrods for the summer finale, with a new series of pop-up concepts.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Dior has made their mark at Harrods. It was only last November, that the brand installed their largest-scale collaboration to date – a gingerbread world and immersive experience, pop-up shops, and a café.
In the dramatic new takeover running until August 27, Dior celebrates the store’s long-standing relationship with Harrods with pop-up shops throughout the store. In addition, Dior has installed an impressive installation that extends across its iconic façade and windows on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge.
This pop-up coincides with the arrival of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s autumn/winter 2023/24 womenswear ready-to-wear collection, which was first shown in February in Paris (Read: The Key to Dior Fall/Winter 2023 Bags). The collection has been displayed over three different spaces within the store in order to highly different categories.
The first space takes the form of a library, designed in the Plan de Paris motif originally inspired by a scarf dating back to the 1950s. The iconic print sits alongside the carefully curated clothing that revisits the iconic Dior Chez Moi collection.
In the second space, you’ll find a pop-up gift shop offering the perfect Dior gifts. The furniture within this luxury gift shop is adorned with Dior’s Florilegio print. You’ll find plenty of Dior buy now, wear now pieces, including the timeless Mitzah scarves, D-Bobby bob hats, silk twill shirts, and the coveted Dior book tote.
The final space revolves around Dior’s luxurious leather goods and handbags. In the Dior-designed cabinet of curiosities, you’ll find the brand’s most iconic and timeless handbag designs. Taking center stage here, include variations of the Lady D-Joy, and Lady Dior bags.
