Discuss, Share, and Ask: New System for Buying Leather Goods at Hermès FSH

Today, we shared a new post with an update on the system for requesting appointments for leather goods at the Hermès FSH store in Paris. (Read: New Development In the System to Buy a Birkin)

Last year, Hermès implemented SMS notification, but you still had to line up in the queue and wait for a chance to be booked for an appointment. Now, you can request your appointment online instead of waiting in line, and you will be notified if your request was granted via SMS.

Please share your thoughts about the new system and the old system. If anyone has experience with either process we would love to hear your opinions about the pros and cons!

Dear Everyone,
I went to Paris last 2 weeks ago and got really excited for this new system.
I arrived in Paris on sunday and wanted to go there on Monday. That’s why i made an online appointment on Saturday and unfortunately i didn’t make it for Monday. I was sooo disappointed. But on Monday i tried again for Tuesday and i received a text on Monday at 7:10 PM Paris time and my appointment was at 10:30 AM. I was soo happy.
I requested for a Kelly 25/28 but they said there’s no kelly or birkin or constance at that time. They offered me a 31 Gold Bolide Clemence Leather and i brought the baby back home.
