Supermodel Gigi Hadid showed up to support her half sister, Alana Hadid, at the La Detresse Spring 2020 Acid Drop collection launch party last week rocking the new Louis Vuitton Pochette. The event took place in the Fleur Room in New York’s Moxy Chelsea hotel.
Hadid was pictured with several of her sisters utilising the bag’s cross-body feature. In signature Vuitton fashion the bag is a modern twist on the house’s iconic Pochette Accessoires created in 1992.
Featuring two separate compartments, a detachable coin purse, chain and thick cross-body strap, it is no wonder the design has proved popular on Instagram and the streets of New York for fashion week.
The bag’s thick strap embossed with the brand’s name comes in a variety of different colors. Hadid opted for light pink.
Dubbed the bag that should be at the top of every stylish girl’s wish list, we expect big things from this multifaceted item that packs a punch.
Perhaps its design reflects consumers’ fast-paced lives and the desire to compartmentalise in modern times. There’s one thing we know for sure, LV has our back when it comes to functionality.
The bag will be available at Louis Vuitton locations from next month.
