I’ll be perfectly honest here… this post comes from my personal obsession of pinks. I used to be all about reds, but something has happened to me in middle age, LOL
I recently purchased the new Rose Pourpre and am completely smitten. In enters the news of Magnolia ? now what…
I prefer to not add multiples in the same color family but am seriously failing at this in the pink/purple color family. Just for a fun visual discussion I am tracking my “justification” journey so far, LOL
Anemone Kelly 32 Sellier GHW
5P pink (bubblegum pink) Birkin 25 GHW 2015
Rose Jaipur Kelly Cut GHW – not sure she really belongs here in this article as more peach to me than pink
Rose Pourpre Birkin 25 PHW 2017
What do we do with this new color Magnolia, is there space in my collection and if so what size? What do I need to do to justify it (must I re- home anything???) or just enjoy my pink frenzy of Hermes bags.
Please share any knowledge you might have or additional eye candy in shades of pinks ?

It seems a complete contrast is what’s needed — in comes Gris Tourterelle

@tkloves is the first in our community to share more photographs of magnolia. She took the time to snap a few photographs for our curious minds. According to her descriptions to me over the phone she describes it as softer and less “in your face” than RP. It’s bright but not as bold as Rose Pourpre. @tkloves found this to be her preference of the two.
I know from personal experience how difficult it is to capture RP’s natural hue in store lights. So I think we must assume the same for Magnolia. In these photos it does look very RP and I guess till we get a side by side comparison it may be tricky to ascertain the distinct differences!
In this first photo I do think I can feel the lighter tone of pink, my guess is this is more pink, and less purple in comparison to RP. Both beautiful, I guess it may be too similar for both in ones collection but never say never ?
Special thanks to @tkloves for sharing and a very hearty congrats on the addition of your new beauty!

I have to be honest, it is so close to Pourpre I personally would not have both in my collection … but if you truly must, then maybe go for a Kelly In Magnolia since your RP is a Birkin.
