Summer is fast approaching, and to celebrate, Dior has released its brand new Dior Palms motif. The epitome of beach chic, this new design for Spring/Summer 2021 depicts palm trees in varying blue hues against a white background. Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri reinterpreted the house’s popular toile de Jouy motif to create the tropical blue summery pattern.
The new print appears on several of Dior’s classic bags, including the Lady D-Lite and Vanity Case. But it’s the new Dior Palms Book Tote which has caught our attention here at PurseBop. Perfect for travelling and as a beach bag, the palm tree pattern pairs with the classic Book Tote’s laissez faire style.
The Dior Palms Book Tote is made in Italy and features traditional Ikat Endek fabrics from Bali, Indonesia. It’s priced at $3,600 and is currently available to buy from Dior’s website. You can also personalize this new design at the ABCDior SoHo Pop-Up shop.
What do you think of Dior’s new motif for summer? Do you think it suits the Book Tote? Or are you more excited about seeing the pattern on one of Dior’s other bags? Let us know.
