I was thinking about this recently, pondering why, if I’m a bag label- whore (to put it nicely), I gravitate toward the more under the radar logo-free models. Reissue over classic cc flap. Damier over monogram. The same is true of clothing – I usually don’t wear items with obvious branding.
Are the labels my little secret? Or something that embarrasses? How do you feel?

I must admit I´m on the label whore team. I just love showing it off (in a good way of course), I´m just proud of my labels and want everyone to appreciate them with me.

I absolutely will do a Birkin, Loubies, Chanel jacket, Rolex and Dior sunnies!

I admit I like my logos. I am not understated, at least rarely, ? but am cautious to not go overboard. I usually limit myself to one or two pieces… ‘Usually ?’

I see your point and I do agree labels can be embarrassing sometimes. For example if you own a Louis Vuitton monogram bag, Hermès H belt, Gucci print shoes, Burberry check shirt, Rolex, etc. there’s nothing wrong.. but wearing them all at once? It can look tacky. When your logos take over your outfit and look noisy, that’s when you know you should chill out. Less is truly more when it comes to logos. Obviously some will disagree here, but that’s what makes fashion interesting. :)

I agree I tend to go for label free. Not just for the politics of logs telling about status, just because I don’t feel comfortable with huge words, graphics, or labels on my clothes because I am pretty minimalistic. If someone is more flashy with their logos though, it’s not necessarily something to be embarrassed about I don’t think.
