Clutch those pearls, be ready to be shocked… not. Another event, another clutch moment for Meghan Markle. This time a wedding not her own.
Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex were guests this weekend at the nuptials of Harry’s cousin on his mother’s side – Celia McCorquodale – to George Woodhouse. The bride is the daughter of Princess Diana’s sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, and wore the historic Spencer tiara – the same one Diana wore at her infamous wedding to Prince Charles.
Meghan’s bag at this event was Carolina Herrera’s Scala rectangular clutch in a shade of white with pink metallic closure detail and mirrored sides. You may recall that her “bag number 2” was also a white mirrored Carolina Herrera clutch. Are we sensing a trend?
Meghan’s long blue and white floral print wrap dress (which drew mixed reviews from the public) was a $5500 Oscar de la Renta fabrication that you can preorder. She accessorized with the requisite fascinator in a white-ish color from Marks & Spencer (in other words, affordable) and, in another relatable moment, rewore her wedding shoes.
The best fashion detail: Prince Harry wore a blue tie to match the color scheme of his wife’s dress.
