Hi Everyone,
I wanted to participate in this weeks challenge by talking about “Boyarde” a Pop Art artist, painting on all kinds of things including Bags. You might have seen Boyarde’s work on Celebrities such as the super blogger “the Blonde Salad” and Kim K before :)
I would love to know if you would be interested in having a personalized bag by Boyarde, and if yes, what Bag you would want to have painted and what kind of drawings you would be interested in?
I personally think that for instance the Neverfull’s and Speedy’s by Louis Vuitton, or Goyard’s super popular Tote Bag would be great candidates for this. Also, if I would own a zillion Birkin’s and Kelly’s, then why not? I could never see it on a CHANEL bag however, I can’t even explain why…
Anyhow, please feel free to comment and share your opinion about art on your bags :)
Many hugs and kisses to you all

Hi Love,
Thanks so much for your reply<3
I agree with you, the St. Louis tote is for sure a perfect candidate! I love the Marilyn Monroe motives by Andy Warhol and think they are the perfect eye catcher!
Let's say if you would get your bag personalized, what would you wanna have painted on it? Do you have any idea?
By the way, I love your flats! Are they comfy? I have been thinking of getting them but wasn't sure about the comfort and quality of them
Again, thanks so much for your input!
Hugs,
Isabelle

That’s a good question, I’m not sure. I’d probably have something playful and comic inspired painted. The Chiara flats are the cutest. I love all the designs. However, I don’t find them comfortable. I got them right before the summer so I didn’t get much time to break them in before sandal weather. I’ll give them another shot this fall but at the moment I don’t recommend.

Hi sweetie! What a fabulous thread. I would love to have a personalized bag. I think my Goyard St. Louis tote would be the best candidate for this. Since, I don’t have a painted bag in my collection I am posting one of my pics which shows my love for bags and pop art…a perfect combo! Thank you for starting such a unique and creative post.

Hii :)
I am so happy you like this thread <3
Honestly, I didn't even think of the Evelyn bag but now that you have mentioned it…. SUCH A GREAT IDEA! But I really agree with you and think it is really hard to pick one of the beloved Birkin's for this, especially since you never know how much you will love the Art at the end.
I am really thinking of having a Keepall, Neverfull or Goyard Tote painted to be honest! I think it would me so much fun to start-up with one of these bags and then see where it would go :)
Thanks a lot for your reply! Really appreciate it!
Hugs,
Isabelle

I think these are so unique and different. I’ve always loved the pop art movement and it’s so fun to see on an LV or a Birkin. Yes, if you had a bunch of Hermes bags to spare, it would be neat to do but I think for a lot of people it would be hard to “give one up” for that cause! ?. I think the Evelyn bag would be really neat for a pop art design because you could incorporate the perforated H in the final look. Such a cool thread – I didn’t know much about these before! Thanks! ????
