Another luxury fashion brand is dropping the fur . . . Prada announced that as of its Spring/Summer 2020 collections, it will no longer use fur in new items. However, items that have already been made will continue to be sold.
As you may recall, late last year, Chanel decided to discontinue use of exotics, including fur beginning Fall 2019. (read: https://www.pursebop.com/chanel-drops-exotics/). Instead, it will rely upon Chanel-developed high-tech high products.
Other designers discontinuing fur products include Gucci and Burberry.
