You and your luxury handbag can now happily jump puddles and sing in the rain. Long available only for Hermes Kellys and Birkins, the handbag raincoat is now a “thing” extending to other brands. Yes, there is an actual Handbag Raincoat sold, for example, at shopbop.com. But a couple of other brands are getting protective.
The Chanel spring/summer runway showed a bag mac, retailing for around $600. And Balenciaga has a leopard bag with its own cover.
