I was raised in a traveling maniac family hahaha We all (dad, mom, bro and I) simply love meeting new countries and cultures, and so at least once a year we travel to some place new. I´ve always wanted the perfect traveling bag (unfortunately I only take 1 bag, max 2 per trip) and still have yet to find a lightweight, easy to carry and big bag to be my loyal companion. I used to take my regular size Mulberry Alexa because it´s light, the leather is really smooth yet resistant and it has a long shoulder strap…but ever since a bought a Canon camera it became too small for me… Now I take my large Fendi Peekaboo which has a lot of space, resistant leather and decent shoulder strap to keep my hands free, but boy it´s heavy… I have to keep switching shoulders and still end up with aching back by the end of the day. So, my question is, which is your fave traveling bag? I´m still searching for mine lol.

I travel a lot on business. My Goyard tote is my go to travel companion. It’s lightweight and fits all my work documents. In addition, it fits all my smaller bags that I need while out of town (last pic). Here are a few pics from recent trips ✈️. I never leave town without my Missoni for Target carry on suitcase.

My favourite travel bag is Louis Vuitton Selene Mahina bag. I love it has a nice strap which makes it practical too with a detachable handle and inner pouch that I use as a wallet.

Mine is the Givenchy Bambi tote. Ultra resistant, cool, and you can also use the small pouch inside as clutch. Easy to clean, carries a lot of weight. For me that’s the winner. It sort of has the same shape as the neverfull and goyard totes shoppers. And it’s fun. :)

My 2 musts are my LV Neverfull and my Goyard St. Louis. Both are multi-functional: I use them as protection for my Birkins, and are great even as beach bags.

looks like the Neverfull is the winner on this thread ;) St Louis seems like a very good idea too. Thank you very much for your contribution orangekissed, I really appreciate it :)

The only down size to those LV and Goyard St Louis is that they don’t close, so for me are a bit risky when traveling because of pickpockets. My worst nightmare is to loose my wallet or cel phone during a trip. But i love those bags for other occasions. orangekissed and PatiEv

One of my favorite bags to travel with is my LV Never Full, I love that I can put everything and not worry about scratches, I usually put inside my bag my Chanel woc as a wallet and to use it for night outs, my Chanel Jumbo for daily use, my Ipad because when it comes to flying I get very ancy specially for long flights, Gum of course!! Sun glasses and snacks on the main compartment, on the side pocket I usually put my passport a pen and my cellphone, Yes it gets heavy but everything first perfectly and that way I don’t have to check in my luxury items because we all know you might not see them again so I rather bring it with me :)

what a beautiful Speedy you have The WonderlustStyle! Only problem I see on the Speedy is that I can´t wear it on my shoulder and keep my hands free for taking pictures… but happy you like to travel with yours cuz she´s a stunner :) thank you for sharing your thoughts and bag, I really appreciate it :)

Yes that is the down side to it!

I would like to share my travel bag – large size Dior Panarea in black. It has been with me for many trips, still keeping its shape. The bag is made of canvas so easy to clean and lightweight =)

Interestingly, there is only one bag I would take on trips :). I took my Hermes Jypsiere on my latest three trips to Paris, London and Korea. Easy bag to use, totally functional as a sling crossbody or shoulder tote with a pop of colour. :)

wow, what a stunning Jypsiere happybaggage! thank you for sharing and for giving your opinion :) I just love a bag with a long shoulder strap ;)

great bag to travel, gorgeous color :)

i have used my LV epi Alma GM with my hermes evelyn’s strap in the same color . Alma GM is very Roomy and the adding the strap makes it easier as a cross body and weight is not an issue that way

very very interesting advice Ananya, thank you very much for sharing! I will surely see if any of my bag´s long strap fits other bags that don´t have it… will see if the Alexa´s strap fits the Peekaboo… or maybe the Silvana´s strap (then it would be Fendi on Fendi)… love the advice :)

Hi PatiEv, that’s a really good question! I’m going to travel in June and I’m already thinking which bag to use! I, too, only like to bring one bag for vacation (so I have more space for new purcahses :P) I like bags that are big enough but not TOO big, bag with a shoulder strap so I can carry other things and one that has a zip for safety reasons! I need suggestions as well!

I was going to suggest the LV Neverfull, but life_and_style_tips beat me to it, so I make her words mine. The patent Valentino Rockstud is also a very good traveling bag IMO.
- Valentina replied 10 years ago

thank you for your advices Valentina. The Valentino Rockstud seems like a nice traveling bag too, but I´ve never held one to see how much it weights, plus, the Neverfull is cheaper hehe but loved both options and will surely consider them next time I travel.

hi Patiev i am a travel addict too :) and only bag i can suggest is you Louis Vuitton Neverfull in medium size.. It is just pefect for travelling.. Everything fits in it. my camera, ipad, all documents, etc.. i have it as Mon Monogram so i customized it with colors and initials (you can check it from my IG also) everytime i go abroad, they are with me :) even in winter, with the all rain, it never gets dirty or anything.. i used my antigonas and CCs also but they are not suitable for travelling :) i hope that helps :)
