Talk about a collab on a collab . . . and call it Zendaya x Louis Vuitton X Takashi Murakami 2025.

With Louis Vuitton’s highly anticipated collaboration with Murakami days about to drop – not long after the the calendar hits 2025 – now comes the visual evidence that Zendaya is fronting the campaign. Multiple exclusive drops are expected throughout the year, but it all begins with a return (and reimagining) of Murakami’s Multicolore Monogram.

A video posted by Louis Vuitton on Instagram takes the viewer from Murakami’s workshop through a trippy portal and then to Zendaya sporting a backpack in his famous design.

The Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami 2025 collection celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the original collaboration, brought to the fashion world by then Louis Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs.

In this new iteration, fashionistas will find the beloved pattern in the women’s side of the boutique – on items ranging from handbags, small leather goods, footwear (and apparently silks seen on Zendaya), as well as collector’s items such as trunks and skateboards. However, sources say the 2025 collection will not repeat the original styles from the early aughts, but rather will extend the design to different popular and also newer styles.
