There’s more to Bottega Veneta than its iconic Intrecciato leather.
Under Matthieu Blazy’s creative direction, the Resort 2025 collection builds on themes from the Spring-Summer 2025 runway, pushing boundaries with a fresh take on textures — from smooth leather and suede to croc embossing and python skin.

Let’s take a look at the standout bags. . .
The Liberta bag, inspired by a 1970s archival style and introduced in Autumn/Winter 2024, returns in fresh colorways, including a striking python pattern that embraces the season’s focus on exotics. This exotic touch extends to a revamped version of the much-loved Sardine bag, which now comes in vibrant python.

Embracing a sense of childlike charm, several designs reflect the spirit of the Spring-Summer 2025 collection, which featured the Intrecciato version of Richard Scarry’s Biggest Word Book Ever. This piece generated a buzz on social media during the brand’s Spring re-sees, and makes a return in the Resort 2025 collection, alongside some playful handbag designs.

Adding a whimsical edge, the Tosa shoulder bag’s handle mimics a snake, nodding to the collection’s use of python.

Meanwhile, signature favorites also receive a creative twist – the Knot Clutch, now in glossy patent Foulard Intrecciato, features a stalk-and-leaf detail in place of the classic knot, giving it the look of a cartoon-like red apple.

The reimagination continues with other popular styles. The oversized Andiamo tote combines Intrecciato with smooth leather, while another iteration features a striking depiction of the iconic Venetian gondola and the Rialto Bridge rendered in what appears to be a knit, complete with fringe trim. Meanwhile, the generously sized backpack is crafted in soft suede.

The updated Hop bag spans both minimalism and maximalism. Showcased in a large size with sleek solid-color smooth leather and refined two-tone versions, as well as a bold red and black python offering.
