Breaking News: We have just learned that Chanel increased their prices in the United Kingdom. We were able to verify the increase to be approximately 10% for the classic styles.
What does this mean for the rest of us? Are we in line to expect an increase too or was this an effort to further the goals of harmonized prices?
This will be the first adjustment since the harmonization back in April 2015, exactly one year ago. The new pricing scheme was implemented to normalize pricing globally to account for currency fluctuations and the grey markets.

UK prices, along with those in the US, were NOT adjusted at that time.
Taking a close look at the new UK prices, they’re very much in line with those here in the US.

I am a little lost right now.. I just went to the Chanel store here in Orlando FL, this past Sunday(03/13/16) I looked at the classic flap in the 3 sizes and the medium had a price tag of $5’500 before taxes ..How come then?
The m/l (or the smallest of the 3 you saw) is actually 4900. The jumbo (the middle size) is $5500 & the largest (maxi) is $6000. The sizing names is actually quite confusing because the Europeans refer to our medium as large, and then jumbo, maxi etc.
