While we’re not quite ready to retire our raffia totes and pastel mini bags, Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2024/25 Pre-Collection promises to make us eagerly anticipate the arrival of cooler months. With its chic autumnal offerings, it’s the perfect preview of what’s to come.

The 24B handbag lineup features iconic styles reimagined in autumnal hues and a sprinkling of metallics. Black, burgundy, and tweed fabrications fill the bag roster, in classics as well as elevated Mini Flaps with vintage vibes and statement-making clutches.

While a black Classic flap is always in style, for Fall/Winter 2024/25 Chanel offers its Classic 11.12 Handbag in two non-black sophisticated autumnal shades. Opt for the lambskin iteration in Burgundy with rose-gold hardware or a Dark Blue version in grained shiny calfskin paired with shiny gold-tone hardware.

Flap Bags
A seasonal alternative to the Classic Flap, Chanel introduces a fresh take on the iconic silhouette. Measuring 6.2 x 9.4 x 2 inches, and with a single flap design, this Flap Bag will carry more than the small double flap. Crafted in shiny black lambskin, and finished with gold-tone hardware, the bag boasts a chunkier, non-adjustable chain.

There’s a similar design in a Maxi size too. Measuring 9.8 x 14.4 x 5.5 inches, the Maxi Flap Bag is crafted in shiny calfskin with gold-tone metal.

Another flap option resembles a Wallet on Chain but boasts more generous dimensions, measuring 6.2 x 10.1 x 2.3 inches. Constructed with a patent calfskin trimmed quilted design, similar to the Chanel 31 Shopping Bag, the flap is secured with a turn-lock fastening. The chain attaches through four eyelets, allowing it to be adjusted for versatile styling.

Mini Flap Bags
Burgundy is looking to be the color of the season and Chanel is right in on the trend. If you’re not ready to dive into a full-sized burgundy bag, how about a mini? Chanel’s Mini Flap Bag with Top Handle combines the Classic Flap aesthetic with contemporary design elements – including shiny lambskin and a chain detail top handle. Chanel introduces a refresh of its bowling bag silhouette this season. With a design not dissimilar to Louis Vuitton’s iconic Alma, the bag features a curved zip-top silhouette and is finished with chain-top handles and a shoulder strap. The Small Tote is available in Black shiny lambskin with gold-tone hardware and measures 5.9 × 7.8 × 2.3 inches.
