Mini Flap Bags took center stage in the flap bag selection on the Cruise 2024/25 runway, and they dominate the collection as well. From leather to tweed, handles to straps, plain to embellished, there’s something petite for every occasion.

For Chanel tweed lovers, there’s a lively White and Multicolor wool tweed version featuring an artistic, hand-drawn style plaid pattern in Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow paired with gold-tone hardware.

Denim enters the mix too – with the Mini in indigo denim with contrasting stitching. Paired with brushed gold-tone hardware, this new denim Mini Flap is set to be a hit.

Chanel goes monochromatic with its Mini Flap Bag with Top Handle. Crafted in lambskin and complemented by matching lacquered metal hardware, this Mini Flap Bag includes both a chain top handle and a shoulder strap. Measuring 4.7 x 7.9 x 2.4 inches, it’s available in three shades – Light Green, Light Gray, and Light Pink.

For a classic Chanel aesthetic, the Mini Flap Bag in chic monochrome makes a timeless statement. Paying homage to Chanel’s iconic Chocolate Bar collection from the early 2000s, this Mini Flap Bag features white lambskin trimmed in black. Hobo-style bags continue to trend, and Chanel introduces a range of new silhouettes and colorways for its Cruise 2024/25 lineup.

One runway standout is the new slouchy yet refined Hobo, measuring 15.7 x 11.8 x 5.9 inches. This spacious design features convenient patch pockets on each side and is secured with a drawstring fastening with CC detail. With its chunky chain shoulder strap, this Hobo is available in quilted Gray suede calfskin, and Black shiny calfskin, both paired with gold-tone hardware.

There’s a smaller version too – in White calfskin with gold-tone hardware, measuring 11.8 x 10.2 x 5.5 inches.

Another option is the Large Hobo Bag Featuring a multi-pocket design, reminiscent of Chanel’s iconic multi pocket Reporter Bag from the 2000s. With a zip-top closure, this bag is primed for everyday wear. Choose from Blue washed denim or leather iterations.

There’s no going back from backpacks, and for Cruise 2024/25 Chanel offers a fresh bucket-iinspired silhouette. Secured by a chain drawstring closure, this Backpack measures 9.6 x 7.1 x 3.1 inches and features exterior pockets adorned with CC’s. Thanks to its chain straps, the bag can be worn on the shoulder, across the body, or as a traditional backpack.

Available in various leathers and colors – Silver metallic lambskin, and Black or White shiny lambskin, as well as denim iterations.

For those seeking extra space, the same design is available in a larger size, measuring 12.2 x 9.1 x 3.9 inches, in shiny White lambskin with gold-tone hardware.

Vanity Bag

No Chanel collection would be complete without a fresh take on the Vanity Bag. This season’s design, reminiscent of Loro Piana’s Extra Pocket Pouch, features a double-zip fastening, a flat top handle, and a removable chain shoulder strap. Measuring 6.7 x 7.7 x 2 inches, it falls in between the sizes of Loro Piana’s L19 and L27 Extra Pocket designs.

The Long Vanity with Chain is crafted in quilted grained calfskin with seam detailing and finished with gold-tone hardware, available in Light Pink, Black, Coral, and Cream.

Additional variations include Light Yellow lambskin, and White and Multicolor Tweed.

Box Bags

Chanel’s latest Box Bag bucks the East-West trend and goes North-South. Measuring 6.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 inches, this compact Box Bag features a zip-top fastening, double chain top handles, and a removable chain shoulder strap. Choose from White or shiny Silver lambskin.

Mini Shopping Bag

Lovers of the so-called Chanel Kelly will be delighted to see it return in new colorways. Officially called the Chanel Mini Shopping bag, offerings include Coral, Blue, Khaki, and Green in shiny lambskin.

Minaudières

And the Chanel Perfume Bottle returns again. First introduced in the Cruise 2014 collection, this time it is crafted from a mix of plexi, enamel, and gold-tone metal, showcasing a bold color palette of Black, White, Red, and Blue. Measuring 6.3 x 4.3 x 2 inches, this new Perfume Bottle Minaudière is set to be a hit with collectors.

Looking for something different that still screams Chanel? Take a look at one of the brand’s most unconventional designs. Although styled like a minaudière on the runway, it is actually part of the jewelry line as the Long Necklace.

Shaped to mimic the iconic interlocking CC logo, the Long Necklace features a hinged opening that reveals a small compartment with a built-in mirror – large enough to house a lipstick. Made from metal with an interwoven leather chain, the fixed shoulder strap allows it to be worn crossbody.
