In The Loop – Hermès released this alternative bucket bag style recently which is a popular choice. It is constructed of Clemence leather and Swift leather for the Chaine d’Ancre handles and bottom. It is offered in many neutrals and pops of color.

Garden Party – This classic Hermès bag can be held by hand or over the shoulder although the shoulder strap is a bit short. They just released a mini size which is very cute. Some are produced in canvas with leather handles and trim. Others are produced all in leather with a canvas interior.

Halzan Bag –  First introduced in 2014, the Halzan is a bag that has not had a lot of exposure. It is a very versatile bag that can be a handheld or a shoulder bag. Its design has equestrian roots mimicking stirrups and handles. Usually produced in soft Clemence leather, it is a favorite among Hermès collectors.

We have not seen many released recently but it is likely to be added again to the lineup of non-quota bags in the future.

Shoulder and Crossbody Non-Quota Bags

Lindy Bag – Arguably one of the most popular non-quota bags, the mini Lindy has become quite difficult to acquire. It has a cute shape with a shoulder strap that can be used crossbody or on the shoulder. It can also be carried hand held by the two loops on either side of the bag.

The new mini Lindy II has a slightly shorter shoulder strap which suits some shorter heights better.

Kelly Moove Bag – This new Hermès bag first appeared at the Spring/Summer 2023 Objects presentation in Paris. Its design resembles the vintage Kelly Banana bag which debuted in the 1990’s.

It has an adjustable shoulder strap, a roomy elongated interior and the addition of a cute Kelly pouch large enough to hold airpods, keys, or other small objects. The interior is large enough to fit a phone, a small wallet, keys, lipstick, and a bag carrier. It is offered in Swift leather in many neutral colors and pops of color. 

The Kelly Moove bag is quickly becoming popular and as such is getting harder to acquire.

Kelly Jump Bag – Another new addition to the Hermès non-quota bag line-up is a cross between the former Kelly Ado backpack and the new Kelly Moove bag. Geta Bag – Another newer non-quota bag that is gaining in popularity is the Geta bag. It has an elongated H closure on the front which extends past the bottom of the bag. Kelly Danse II – The Kelly Danse was first designed in 2008 by Jean Paul Gaultier. It was put on hiatus in 2013 but reintroduced in 2019 as the Kelly Danse II. Since then it has become extremely popular due to its versatility. The Kelly Danse II can be worn 6 different ways: as a clutch, a shoulder bag, a cross body bag, a waist bag, a wristlet, and a back pack. It generally comes in Swift leather but has also been produced in Ombre Lizard, regular lizard, ostrich, and the limited edition Kelly Danse with Fringe.
