Dear PurseBop:

I am going to Italy this summer and would like to purchase two bags; both are non-quota. Is it okay to ask for two non-quota bags? I would like to buy an Evelyne TPM and a Hac a Dos PM.

Dear Two Non-Quota Bag Hopeful:

While traveling to Italy this summer, it is acceptable to ask for two non-quota bags in a Hermés boutique. However, whether one or both will be available and offered to you is unknown.

Almost all bags are in short supply and not always readily available. However, it is definitely worth shopping in Italy and requesting the bags with the hope of scoring at least one of them.

Our suggestion is to connect with one SA and do your shopping first, make your purchases, then ask if there are any of the leather bags you desire. It is possible that you will be successful for at least one.

Good luck and enjoy Italy.
