Dear PurseBop: I am visiting Paris and Nice in June and want to try to get an Evelyne TPM. How do I go about this and which store would I have better luck in?
Also, are Cartier prices lower in Paris? I am interested in the Juste Un Clou bracelet and wondering how much I would save buying in Paris

Traveling to Paris and Nice sound like a fantastic trip. There is so much to see and do and the shopping is unmatched. There are three Hermès boutiques to visit in Paris and one in Nice. Our suggestion is to try them all if you have time. An Evelyne TPM is a non-quota bag and a reasonable request at any location. It would depend on availability and some luck as well as possibly making some other purchases in store before requesting the bag you desire.

With respect to Cartier, it is our understanding that the prices are quite similar to the U.S. but there may be a savings due to the VAT refund. Nevertheless it is always a nice memory to purchase a special piece while in Paris on vacation.
