What are your thoughts on asking for a mini Kelly for a second bag? I have been told its the hardest to get. However, would the purchase of a $15,000 fine jewelry bracelet change things? However, if I am after a C18, would that mean I don’t need to spend as much? Thank you!

A mini Kelly is a very popular and desirable bag. Letting your SA know you would love to be offered one is very helpful and can open the door to a discussion with them about how long it might take at your location, how challenging it is to be offered one, what steps you might do to improve your likelihood of receiving one, how competitive your location is, and more.
Every Hermès location has different benefits and challenges depending on whether you are in the U.S., Europe, Asia, the U.K., Canada or somewhere else. Therefore, speaking directly with your SA is your best bet.
Purchasing fine jewelry and ready to wear that you love from Hermès will always help your purchase history. Try to make the purchase during the time you hope to be offered a mini Kelly and when you are willing to wait for the bag you desire.
Often we get impatient waiting for the bag on our wish list and accept an offer of a Constance or Kelly Pochette instead. This may count as a quota bag in your location in which case your purchase history with respect to being offered a mini kelly may reset. This occurs only in some locations in the U.S. In those locations a Constance and a Kelly Pochette is treated as a quota bag, but in other locations and in Europe and the U.K., it is considered a non-quota bag. Accepting these bags while waiting for a mini kelly may delay your next offer. Again, your SA would be the best person to direct you on this issue.
