Since you already have a SA and have purchased from her recently, the best thing to do is to contact the SA and ask what procedures are in place in your location and what applies to you. Ask if you may preorder the bag you desire.

As of June 7, 2022 Chanel instituted new rules and a quota system. Chanel placed restrictions of the number of bags one client may purchase per month and per year. In addition, sales must be done in person. SAs are not permitted to do a charge send unless their client is VIC (very important client).

One SA from Saks Fifth Avenue advised their clients of the following:

“VIC or Elite ranking are new levels set by Chanel for their top clients. Shopping Chanel Ready to Wear can improve your ranking. Being Elite or VIC allows you to reserve bags in advance, and have first dibs on new collections.”
