How Do Sales Associates at Hermès Really Feel About a Customer Buying Hermès Items While Traveling or on Vacation?

I travel frequently for business and go on vacation at least twice a year. I am loyal to my SA in my home store but when I travel I love to shop and if I find something I like buy also. How does this affect my relationship with my SA at Hermès and how do they really feel about making purchases outside one’s home store?

It is always a good idea to be loyal to your Sales Associate at Hermès. Nevertheless, most SA’s understand the allure of shopping while traveling and are not upset by your purchases abroad.

A few things to keep in mind when shopping during your trips. Try to focus on buying items that are unavailable at your home store. Also, avoid large expenditures while abroad unless it will lead to an offer of a bag in that store. Saving your large purchases for your home store solidifies your relationship with your SA and improves your profile.

Since the accounts are now linked between Paris and the U.S. and possibly other locations, it is best to always be honest with your SA at your home store. They will be happy you were able to purchase items unavailable at home.
