How to secure an appointment with an SA at Chanel in Paris?

I was in Paris for only one night while the new collection launched. The wait time was 2-3 hours and I was not allowed to leave the boutique. I was expected to stay in the boutique, in line the whole time. Not worth my time frankly. My hotel was not able to secure an appointment for me either. Do you have suggestions on how to schedule appointments at Chanel?
