Is It Easier to Get A Hermès Leather Appointment in Paris or Spain This Summer?

To our knowledge Paris is the only city that uses an online lottery system for leather appointments. Other boutiques in Europe use the wish list system for quota bags for their local customers.

It is possible to make an appointment to shop in the Hermès boutiques in Madrid and Barcelona but it will not be a “leather appointment” like in Paris. Go online to the location you wish to visit and there will be a reservation tab. During the summer months when there are many tourists traveling it is best to make an appointment if you would like to avoid a wait and are serious about shopping in that location. Whether a bag will be offered is up to the SA and their manager.

After shopping with one SA in Spain, you could request a quota or non-quota bag but it is unknown whether a bag will be offered to a non-resident tourist. It is always worth a try but do not set your expectations very high.

In Paris apply online each day for an appointment for the next day. This is the best way to get a leather appointment. To increase your chances of getting an appointment do not specify one of the 3 locations in Paris. You may try to request a walk in appointment at the leather desk at each location in Paris. Some of our community members have reported success. However, it is very busy and just remember to be polite and kind and keep your expectations low. These customers tend to have the most success.
