Would it be weird to get a new SA in the same boutique? Would they get in the way of you getting offered QB?

Many people contemplate changing SA’s in the same boutique for various reasons. They believe they do not “click” with their SA, or they do not have the kind of relationship they had hoped, or they feel as though their SA is “ghosting them.”
Although it is normal to feel that changing SA’s in the same location may help you reach your goal quicker, before making that decision carefully consider the following questions.
- Do you want to change SA’s because you believe another SA would get you a quota bag faster?
Do you want to change SA’s because you believe your SA is “ghosting” you?
-Do you want to change SA’s because you are not clicking with your SA and believe a new SA would be better suited for you?
-Do you want to change SA’s because you do not think your SA “likes you?”
All these may be valid reasons for switching SA’s in the same location. Rest assured that your purchase history in that store will remain intact but your spend amount with your new SA will start anew.
Because you will be starting a new relationship with a new SA, your pre-spend with the new SA will essentially be starting from zero. That does not mean that you must start building your purchase history up from scratch. It just means that the pre-spend you have with your former SA will not benefit your new SA which may or may not benefit you.
If there is a SA in your home boutique who you know or chat with often, you could approach them and ask if you could start shopping with them. Be honest about why you want to switch SA’s without saying mean or hurtful things about your SA. Explain to the new SA you believe shopping with them would be a better fit and you hope to be offered a quota bag in the near future. Just something to think about before making a move.
Alternatively, you could speak with a manager at your location and discuss any concerns you may have about your existing SA and they may be able to advise you better.
If you decide to change to another SA in the same store, it will not be awkward. SA’s understand the situation and have many customers to manage. Your former SA will not get in the way of you being offered a bag either. Everyone is very professional and busy. All they want is for their customers to be happy. Unfortunately, it is not easy to make everyone happy all of the time in the world of Hermès. Our best advice is to be honest with your SA, enjoy the process, buy only what you love and will use, and trust that good things will come.
