Please Help Me Decide Which Hermès Bag and Color to Choose to Add to My Diverse Collection!

Would you choose color over style for your next Hermes handbag purchase(via reseller)?

Background: I have a B30 Etain ghw in Togo (Retourne), B25 gold on gold Sellier, K28 black ghw Sellier and K25 rose pourpre phw Sellier. I am looking for my next handbag and was thinking I am missing a B25 Togo (Retourne) in my collection and would love to have one.

In the meantime, I came across a K25 Sellier in a color I absolutely love – Mauve Sylvestre and a Constance 24 in the same color. Now I am debating whether to get a B25 in Retourne or go with the K25 Sellier or with the Constance 24. I love both Kelly and Birkin equally but am missing a B25 Retourne in my collection and at the same time love the Mauve Sylvestre color. Can you please help a fellow handbag lover? I want this to be my last Hermès purchase for a while.

This one is for all my fellow pink lovers who can relate to this “problem.”

This is definitely a tough one and the kind of dilemma only a handbag fashionista can understand. It is nice to have choices although sometimes it can be confusing. It is not easy to resolve. And there is no right or wrong answer.

I do believe that whichever bag you choose will be the right bag. I agree that your collection does not have a B25 Retourne but you do have a B30 Retourne. Mauve Sylvestre is such a beautiful color, and as a pink lover it is a color that is hard to pass up.

My suggestion is to get the Kelly or Constance in Mauve Sylvestre or you may regret it in the future. Clearly one of those bags in that gorgeous color is calling out to you. Whatever purchase you make the goal is that the bag “makes your heart sing.” You can always add a Birkin 25 Retourne in the future.

Choosing a Constance in Mauve Sylvestre would add a bag to your collection that you do not have already and in a color you do not have. A Kelly 25 in Mauve Sylvester is one of my favorite bags so I understand it will be a difficult choice. And because you have a Rose Pourpre K25 Sellier, a Constance 24 seems to be the logical choice. However, I am not against acquiring multiple pink Kellys. You certainly will use them all.

I think you cannot go wrong with either the Constance 24 or Kelly 25 Sellier in Mauve Sylvestre.
