Should I Purchase a Hermès Birkin in Craie with RGHW or Noir with RGHW?

Hi I would like advice on whether to purchase a B25 in Craie with rose gold hardware (rghw) or black with rose gold hardware (rghw)? Does Craie discolor or get dirty easily? Please advise

Receiving an offer of a Birkin 25 in either Noir or Craie with rose gold hardware is an exceptional offer. Surely, Noir (black) would show much less wear or dirt than a lighter color such as Craie. We have never experienced or heard about Craie discoloring. However, because it is such a light color it would show dirt or wear more readily than a darker color.

When making a choice between a dark color or a much lighter color consider how you use your Birkins. Are they every day bags that go everywhere with you including work and all kinds of errands, shopping, events, and activities? Or are they more of a special occasion bag for certain events, luncheons, shopping, visiting with friends, date nights, etc.?

If you use your bags all the time for all occasions, it might be best to choose a darker color such as noir. If you tend to baby your bags, take extra care when using them, and only take them out on certain occasions, then Craie would be a good choice.
