I am Waiting for my first Birkin but I don't want to to spend on other things. What Should I Do?

I am trying to get my first Birkin! I don’t really want to spend on any other Hermès bags. I’ve had my name put on the wish list twice but to no avail. Should I just keep on doing that until finally I get my Birkin call or do I need to make other purchases.

I have to assume you are working with one particular SA at your home store? If not, you need to build a relationship with one SA and then have an open conversation with that person about submitting an updated wishlist.

Whether you need to make any additional purchases depends on your particular store, your SA, and how much you have spent so far. Every store is different. The key is a good relationship with a SA and open communication. Then you can ask what is expected of you.

You should explore the many different metiers (departments) within Hermès. If there are any products, ready to wear, shoes, jewelry, home goods, or leather products that you desire let your SA know. They will help you decide what to purchase.
