Dear Non-Quota Bag Choice:
Hermès now offers many non-quota bags which are wonderful options while waiting for your quota bag offer. Many offer shoulder straps and others are hand-held bags. It is best to first decide if you prefer a shoulder strap or a hand held bag to narrow the decision making process. The most popular non-quota bags and their prices are below.
Hand-Held Non-Quota Bags:
Picotin Lock Bag – This bag has become one of the most popular non-quota bags. Most commonly seen in Clemence leather, it is a functional bag that holds all essentials and more.

In The Loop – Hermès released this alternative bucket bag style recently which is a popular choice. It is constructed of Clemence leather and Swift leather for the Chaine d’Ancre handles and bottom. It is offered in many neutral and pops of color.

Garden Party – This classic Hermès bag can be held by hand or over the shoulder although the shoulder strap is a bit short. They just released a mini size which is very cute also.

Halzon Bag – First introduced in 2014, the Halzon is a bag that has not had a lot of exposure. It is a very versatile bag that can be a handheld or a shoulder bag. Its design has equestrian roots mimicking stirrups and handles. We have not seen them released recently but it is likely to be added to the line up of non-quota bags in the future.

Lindy Bag – Arguably one of the most popular non-quota bags, the mini Lindy has been quite difficult to acquire. It has a cute shape with a shoulder strap that can be used crossbody or on the shoulder. The new mini Lindy II has a shorter shoulder strap which suits some body styles better.

Kelly Moove Bag – This new Hermès bag appeared at the Spring/Summer 2023 Objects presentation in Paris. Its design resembles the vintage Kelly Banana bag which debuted in the 1990’s. It has an adjustable shoulder strap, a roomy elongated interior and the addition of a cute Kelly pouch large enough to hold airpods, keys, or other small objects. It is offered in Swift leather in many neutral colors and pops of color.

Kelly Jump Bag – This new addition to the Hermès non-quota bag line-up is a cross between the former Kelly Ado backpack and the new Kelly Moove bag. It is a small backpack with room for essentials including a phone. A Kelly charm sits comfortably on one of the adjustable straps suitable for airpods or other small items. Appearing in Swift leather in many neutral and fun colors, it is a good addition to any collection.
Geta Bag – Another newer non-quota bag that is gaining in popularity is the Geta bag. It has an elongated H closure on the front which extends past the bottom of the bag. The bag was inspired by Japanese wooden platform sandals. This compact, symmetrical messenger bag comes in the luxurious Chevrè leather in many beautiful colors.

24/24 Bag – Debuted in the pre-fall 2018 collection, this bag is a popular choice. It has a top handle and a shoulder strap which is secured by hooks on the back of the bag. Definitely considered a Kelly alternative with similar details.
