Dear PurseBop:
What is a Hermes push offer?
At Hermès, a push offer is typically a special or limited-edition bag sent to a boutique that they did not order during their Podium ordering process.
The bag could be many different variations but is always something special and of limited quantity. Many times they have one of Hermès heritage leathers such as Box, Barenia, or Volynka. They may be very exclusive bags or bags featured on the runway or sometimes only produced once or for one season.
Some examples of push offer bags are:
  • Bags made of heritage leather such as Box, Barenia, Volynka, etc.
  • Faubourg Birkin 20’s
  • Colormatic Birkin and Kelly
  • Verso bags that are not Special Orders
  • Bolide on Wheels
  • Kelly Wood
  • Constance with Special Hardware
If you receive a push offer from your boutique and it is an exclusive limited quantity bag that very few are wearing, embrace it and rejoice!
