Hello! I just purchased a mini Lindy in store. I noticed it’s now called mini Lindy II in size 18. Just curious if you know the difference between this new mini Lindy 18 vs the previous mini Lindy 20. Thank you!
Dear New Mini Lindy:
When Hermès re-releases an existing bag and has made changes to the size, shape, length of shoulder strap, or other areas, they will designate the new model with the next corresponding roman numeral, in this case “II”.
The new mini Lindy being released has a slightly shorter shoulder strap and may be 2 cm shorter in the body of the bag across the bottom. There may be additional changes as well. It is not known why these changes were made but it is a way to designate a new and improved model.
