What exactly is the Hermès Spa, what do they offer with respect to repairs, and where are they located in the U.S.?

Dear Hermès Repairs:

The Hermès Spa (also referred to as After Care in Paris) is a service provided for the repair of leather goods, including bags, ready to wear, silks, home goods, jewelry, and watches. There are artisans on site at certain Hermès boutiques around the world.

Hermès bags may be repaired in certain areas. They will repair a zipper, reinforce the stitching, replace, shine, or clean bag hardware, replace a handle, clean or condition the leather, repair certain scratches on heritage leather such as box, and more. Note that the artisan will not clean the inside of a bag.

They also service their jewelry by replacing a lost stone, sizing needs, polish scratches or bumps, and more. Watches are also serviced and repaired by the artisans.

Ready to wear can also be repaired or altered depending on the item. Many home goods items may also be repaired or freshened up.

In the U.S. there are 38 Hermès boutiques that offer service and repairs onsight of leather goods and other Hermès objects. You may drop items off for repair or service. They will assess the issue and send an email with an estimate of the cost of the repair. If the issue cannot be addressed locally they will send the item to Paris for repair with your permission. A time estimate is usually given with the estimate. An email will be sent again when the item is ready for pick up. Payment is expected at the time of pick up.
