When do the 2025 price increases go into effect for Hermès in Europe and the U.S.? Do you think the increases will reach the 10% level?
Dear Nervous About the Upcoming Price Increases:
In 2024 and 2025 Hermès increased prices during the first week in January in Europe and during the second week of January in the U.S. Historically, the increases did not take effect until well into February, but it seems that practice was discontinued.
Most prices of quota handbags in 2025 increased between 4-6% in Europe, with Alligator increasing 7.5%. In the U.S., most quota bags increased even more ranging mostly in the 6-7% range, with the exception of the Constance 18 which increased 8.4%.
